Red Hot Friday - Aug 14 (2).png

As a large public gathering wasn’t in the cards, we are recreating our original festival from one big weekend into three smaller pop-up art fairs throughout the month of August! Each Friday will feature 4-5 local artist vendors, a musical performance, food and beverage trucks as well as take home art-in-a-box (think CSA for art)!  Red Hot Fridays will take place 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 14, 21, and 28 in the 1925 Nicollet Ave parking lot.

Get ready for some incredible local artist vendors, hands on activities, music, and food on August 14th. Check out our flaming hot line-up of artists including art by Rock Johnsen Ceramics, Essence by Noble and CBCS Art Gallery, live performance by Dark Muse, and a hands-on activity by Can’t Forget the Kids!

Dark Muse is a black woman owned arts organization dedicated to creating and sharing bold stories, unapologetically. We are passionate about lifting up BIPOC, LGBTQ+, womxn, and other unheard voices. Artists will perform songs, spoken word, and dance. The performance will feature a selection of pieces to express how we are feeling, in hopes of healing.

Performers: Aliya Mukamuri, Chris Owusu, Emma Schuld, Grace Renstrom, Ileri Okikiolu, and Vanessa Brooke Agnes

Hands-on Activity

Can't Forget the Kids.png

Can’t Forget the Kids was created to supply the kids and youth of Minneapolis and St. Paul with art kits because we believe that art is therapy! By providing these art supplies, we are giving kids an opportunity to draw, paint, color, build, and create out what they are feeling instead of internalizing everything they are witnessing, hearing and experiencing. The kids are our future!

We are 100% donation based organization so feel free to donate to one of our platforms:
