Neighborhood Development Committee Meeting

Remote Meeting via Zoom

The Neighborhood Development Committee provides a space for community members to learn about, engage with, and make recommendations about projects that impact the built environment of the Stevens Square Loring Heights neighborhoods, which includes: residential & commercial development, neighborhood accessibility, parks, greenspace, streetscape, and transportation infrastructure.

At this meeting our main agenda item will be discussing how we might work with the Park Board to spend Park Dedication Fees designated to our neighborhood. Some ideas we're working with include:

  • Full court basketball court

  • One stall restroom with electrical outlets that could be used for events

  • Acquiring the former Emily Peake Memorial Garden

  • Unsealing the well and making it safe for drinking

We'll have Adam Regn Arvidson from the Park Board join us to let us know which projects might be the best fit.
